Lost Angel Biography

Lost Angel has been performing in central Ohio since 1992 and plays a mix of what may be considered Hard Rock or Metal. Through determination and performance we produced, recorded and mixed the DESTINATION CD in January 1998, and the most recent work, PSYCHOSOMATIC in November 2000 at Mars Recording in Streetsboro, Ohio. DESTINATION was released to the public in September of 1998 and PSYCHOSOMATIC was released in February of 2001. Lost Angel can be found and contacted at our web site http://www.lostangel.com on Internet. Through Internet the CDs can be purchased by following links to CDBaby.com. Songs can alse be purchased through iTunes, Amazon, and a host of other online music retailers.

The CDs are commercial quality and include everything one would expect from a major record label (including lyrics). Lost Angel has INTERNATIONAL distribution. By advertising and selling the CD on Internet, Lost Angel has been able to reach a worldwide audience and fan base. The band has also released songs on Internet in a compressed digital format called MP3. The songs can be downloaded to your PC and played in full length and at near CD quality. Links on Lost Angel’s site can be followed to download the songs. Our web site has received tons of hits since going up in October of 1998 and contains many reviews and newspaper articles from around the world. A compilation CD assembled by Dwell Records of Los Angeles, CA called ‘2000 The Second Coming’ was released in December of 1999 containing a Lost Angel track called ‘Gateway to Heaven’. Although Lost Angel is definitely not a Christian rock band, we are not afraid to write songs dealing with any subject. During November 1999 a Lost Angel track called ‘Hell To Pay’ was selected by Peace Arch and Pearson Television to appear in an episode of ‘First Wave’ on the Sci-Fi Channel called ‘Playland’ aired July 30th, 2000. Lost Angel was selected as one of 30 bands on MP3.com to be featured in the series.
